We work with children who have autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, communication challenges, and behavioral concerns. If your child is between the ages of 0 and 10 and lives in Southern Hillsborough County, register on our waitlist now.
Applied Behavior Analysis is the most research-supported treatment available for autism and related developmental challenges. ABA therapy works by identifying the specific skills your child needs to build and the behaviors that are getting in the way, then using positive reinforcement and structured teaching to create real, lasting change.
At ABA On Demand, we deliver ABA therapy the way it should be done: individualized to your child, naturalistic in its approach, and delivered in the setting where your child actually lives and learns. No two programs look alike because no two children are alike.
Our ABA Services Include:
Before any therapy begins, we need to understand why a behavior is happening, not just that it is happening. A Functional Behavior Assessment is a structured, BCBA-conducted evaluation that identifies the root causes of your child’s challenging behaviors by observing patterns, gathering data, and analyzing what is driving the behavior in different settings.
The FBA is the foundation of everything we do. Without it, a therapy plan is just guesswork. With it, we can target the right skills in the right way for your specific child. Every treatment plan at ABA On Demand starts here.
The Behavior Intervention Plan is built directly from the findings of the FBA. It lays out the specific goals for your child, the strategies we will use to reach them, and how we will measure progress over time. Targets typically include communication skills, self-regulation, adaptive daily living, and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning or participation at home and school.
The BIP is a living document. We review and update it regularly based on your child’s data so the plan always reflects where they are and where they are headed.
One-on-one therapy sessions are delivered by a trained Registered Behavior Technician under direct BCBA supervision. Each session is built around the goals in your child’s BIP and uses a combination of naturalistic teaching, discrete trial training (DTT), and other evidence-based ABA techniques matched to how your child learns best.
Sessions can take place in your home, at school, or in the community, depending on where your child’s goals are best practiced. Consistency across settings is one of the most important factors in lasting progress, and our team is structured to support that.
Therapy sessions last a few hours a week. The rest of your child’s life happens with you—and we want to support that, too. Parent and caregiver training is how we bridge that gap.
We teach you the specific ABA strategies your child’s program uses so you can reinforce them throughout the day, during routines, mealtimes, transitions, and all the moments that therapy sessions do not cover. You do not need a clinical background to do this well. We will show you exactly what to do and practice it with you until it feels natural.
Parents who are active in the therapy process see faster progress. That is not an opinion. It is what the research consistently shows. We take parent training seriously because your child’s outcomes depend on it.
We provide ABA therapy during the school day for children who need support in the classroom environment. Our RBTs work directly with your child at school, and our BCBAs collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams to make sure ABA strategies are consistent with what is happening in therapy.
For children with IEPs, we can support the implementation of behavior goals and provide consultation to school staff on strategies that help your child succeed in the school setting. Services are available for children up to age 10 and can be coordinated alongside in-home services for comprehensive coverage.
Skills learned in one setting do not automatically carry over to others. Community-based therapy takes sessions out of the home or clinic and into the real-world environments where your child needs to use their skills: grocery stores, playgrounds, restaurants, community centers, and other spaces that are part of daily life.
This is where generalization happens. When a child can use a skill across different places, people, and situations, that is when the skill is truly learned.
ABA On Demand does not operate out of a single clinic. We bring therapy directly to the families and communities we serve. Our team is active across Southern Hillsborough County, with a focus on the areas below.
